Hey, Barry White is considered one of the sexiest singers ever, so low voices can be good. I've always liked them myself. I like almost any type, really, it just depends. I'm caught somewhere between alto and soprano, here.

Me, if i'm lucky I'd call myself high baritone. But eh, well, I dunno. Got me an octave range but never seem to find something that aint too high or too low. But then, that's probably a good thing for expanding teh range.

I would love to go to Ireland. There's several places I would love to go, in fact.
I wonder if they allow naked Pagan dances at Stonehenge. Man, that would be shiny. I could gather up all the Forsaken, and we could all go...

It's sooo empty...

And also, Stonehenge is in England, Salisbury... Not so much in Ireland.

I went there once for the tourist thing... it's a bunch of rocks with one of those rope fences around it. Meh. Nah, it's cool.

I read in the news though, back on the solstice, there was a big hippy shindig in the stonehenge area.

But really only visiting family, and sorta pretending to be tourists. Still good tho.

Yeah, I knew it was in England. Sorry, I kinda started wandering in my mind, thinking of places I wanted to go and stonehenge just popped up.
Yeah, I've seen reports of the hippie/druid shindigs. It was built for the solstice, after all. That would be fun to see.

Last time, or maybe the summer before that, I brought meself back a rock from the beach. Meh.

But eh, looking forward to seeing my cousin again, even though i'll only be able to see her for an hour while we change planes in heathrow. She lives in Reading atm. /cry.

Oh well, I can catch up n all, and even if she is 10 years older than me. Meh, most of you folks are 4 or 5 years my senior at least, and we all get on fine! Age don't matter none. Hmmm... maybe I can find a region 2 of firefly and give it to her. After all, she liked monkey island... hmmmm

Be kind to your techies, yea for they can make you look frumpy and leave pins in your clothes, or put the curse of the ugly lighting gel upon you. Also they build the raised platform you must dance upon twelve feet in the air.
It would really take a lot to piss a serious professional off to the point where they'd intentionally hurt the show, but it could happen.
There's a lot of them that can sing and dance too you know...
During my orientation to the department in college there was a room full of about 70 students. The prof asked the musical theater majors to cheer (about 2/3 of the room), then the drama majors (about the other 1/3), then asked the technicians to stand up (there were 5 of us). He then said "look closely because they are the ones who will be employed when they graduate", or something along those lines. It never hurts to learn another skill while you're practicing your sensory memory folks, there's always room for someone who can swing a hammer or sew on a button. Small repertory companies need Jack and Jills of all trades because everybody does everything or the show does not happen.
It also helps if you can grok the techspeak and communicate effectively with your designers and technicians. It's like being able to speak French in France, they may still think you're a boob, but they appreciate the fact that you're trying and will try harder.
(No really, I've tried it it works!)

Not a good idea.

Firstly its fenced off - not access, summer is one long wrangle between the police and the site preservationists trying to keep some berk who calls himself Uther Pendragon High preist of whatever and his stoned followers off the irreplacable archeology.

Besides, Stonehenge has nothing to do with the summer solstice - it was built for the winter alignment, so every summer all the self respecting pagans are at their church in yorkshire. And no-one dances naked in a british winter.

'cept maybe Micheal Palin, who'll probably dance naked just about anywhere.
