I Love this movie, it makes me so happy. Really, it has turned a shitty day into a good day for me.

The BDM was soooo shiny tonight on Cinemax. Hopefully they'll repeat it more than a couple of times

You know, I own this movie on DVD... yet here I sit watching it thru the second time this evening, because it's on cable! It's so shiny!

I love that while they're leaving the planet after escaping the Reavers at the beginning that Mal's face is lit by engine light as the ship climbs thru atmo while he talks to Zoe. Then as the ship hits space... the noise stops and the light changes.

I love that our movie is full of things like that.

Somewhere out there, someone who hasn't seen it is seeing it for the first time. And they'll likely fall in love just like we did.

I love our BDM too.

I hit my "how many times is it on and when" button on my guide, NCBrowncoat and it's on clear thru Wednesday of this week. And I'm sure more afterwards.

My mom was telling me how it was pathetic that I was watching the BDM when I already had it on DVD.

*sigh*

These foolish mortals. They know not what they do.

Turned on the TV this morning around 9:30 am, and it was half way through. Still shiny and Nathan still makes suspenders very very sexy each time I see it.

Hope we get lots more people interested in the BDS and the BDM so WE CAN HAVE AT LEAST 2 MORE !!!!!

It's interesting but it's different on the tv like that... not in content of course... there's just something about knowing that there are other people out there, folks maybe seeing it for the first time!

Very shiny!

And Nathan owns that movie.. Summer is dazzling of course and the others wonderful.. but Nathan just takes you and holds your attention all thru out the movie. Just an awe inspiring performance.

Did anyone else think that the shadows didn't seem as dark, like you could see more detail in the dark parts than on the DVD? Like the Simon/Mal comversation where we first see them together. I can't really see their faces in the shadows on the DVD, but i got a better impression of their expressions and such on TV. And it seemed like that everywhere i looked for it. Hm... maybe it's just my eyes filling in the holes with what i think would be there from watching all the episodes so many times, and the movie.

Now up to 3 or 4 viewings per episode. Yay me! Um... anyway, just wondering if anyone else noticed this. Maybe i just have some weird setting on my TV when it plays DVDs, or maybe i'm imagining things.

Nope, Nanite.. I felt the same way.. it seemed to play less dark on Cinemax.

It didn't detract from the darkness that Joss obviously wanted.. it was just easier to see.

I can't say for sure that my eyes were truly seeing it brighter.. no way to measure that really, but it sure felt that way.
