Now admittedly there are good movies out in this crazy mixed up world. I in no way am trying to say all movies are sucky and only Joss is qualified to direct (i might be thinking it, but darn it I'm not saying it)

It's just I'm so sick of movies that are really really dumb getting made when great stories with passion and heart are being neglected. I mean "Little man"? How did that happen, really? And "Date Movie"? Anyone else been victim to countless commercials and trailers to moronic films like "Lady in the water" or "Scary movie 4" perhaps tears have been brought to your eyes as you sit throught "The hills have eyes" When greatness like say... SERENITY 2 could be made...

So many of these movies would be perfect for mystery science theater 3000, don't you think? I mean they're really just ASKING for it.

Reminds me of the oscars last year, when the head of the oscar/film industry person was like ahhhh the movies:

the popcorn (me: the sticky seats)
the dark theatre (the crying children)
the exciting previews (the long commercials)
the whole experience (the insane ticket prices, the uncomfortable seats, and the cheapness of netflix)

And coupled with the crummy movies...and my parents wonder why I don't like to go to the movies with them.

I will go see things like Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Wallace and Gromit...cool things that you can tell are worth your money. But little man?????

Speaking of Mystery Science Theater 3000, I saw a movie on Sci-fi a few weeks ago something like "The Unborn 2" or something along that line that I would have LOVED to see the three heads at the bottom of the screen for!

My husband and I saw "Rodentz" http://imdb.com/title/tt0292429/ on cable late one night. We were having quite a bit of fun making fun of it, but having the silhouettes along the bottom of the screen would have been icing on the cake.

Ummmmmm any movie that gets made and isn't Serenity 2 makes me angry! Arrrgggg the greatest movie of all time is Serenity! The children of the corn has 6 movies and there isn't a Serenity 2 yet? What the heck! Crazy entertainment industry!

The Wayans Brothers deserve such a horrendous beating for Little Man. Thinking about it makes me want to put a bullet between the eyes of every panda that won't screw to save its species. It makes me want to open the dump valves on oil tankers and smother all the French beaches I'll never see.

The fact that it's made 4 times the amount of Clerks II makes me want to destroy something beautiful. Perhaps I can start some sort of club to further this endeavor.
