I'd like to have a nice shiny signature to go along with my posting, since I think I'll be making this forum my new home since you folks seem awfully nice and all. Was wondering if anyone was bored and would like to help a poor Photoshop illiterate person out? I have lots of fun Firefly quotes running round in my head and would love to have one as a siggie...any takers? Just thought I'd ask....

What exactly are you looking for? Most people will let you use things they make as sigs if you want. I certainly will. If you have an idea that you haven't seen anywhere, though, just describe it and I can make it. Unless there is Flash involved, for that you might have to get in touch with DesktopHippie or Arcadia.

I too longed to have a really cool signature (other than the kissing emote and 'lame quote'), but then I met Desk Top Hippie! She really turned my frown upside down and made me into a hero - not a zero!!

Don't worry about the borrowing magdalena, though i don't think she knows anyone is using it i'd say DH will be thrilled to see that you liked it enough to sig it.

Also Erin, Just say what you'd like for the sig and i'm sure there are a ton of people here (Like PR above) who'd be only too happy to whip it up for you.

Oh I know how to picture post, I'm not new to forums in general (but thanks for the link, it was a good refresher to read through it). I am pretty much a simple sig kinda person. I like quotes, usually with a funky background. The old forum I was on usually it was angtsy sorta quotes, with a shot of my fav character. But I haven't really felt drawn to any one particular character yet in Firefly (kind a toss up between Mal and Jayne currently I think) and my sense of humor really jives with Firefly, so I like their snarky comments most. My current fave is "Your's mouth still talking, you might wanna see to that." I have an avatar a friend made me that I would love to use on this forum, but I don't see how I can do that. Any help with that would be appreciated...

Custom avatars can apparently be a bit of a pain to get. Contact Haken, he's in charge. Make sure your avatar is 48 by 48 pixels. Good luck!
