There's a Canton, GA.
I'd try "IMSHINY" or just "SHINY"

May not be smart, and it may not please you, but you're definitely gonna see what I have to say.

I tried FIREFLY, then F1REFLY, then Srenity, Then BRNCOAT ... I recomend Vanity tags as "spread the word" tools... They only cost about $20 ...(In PA they do....not sure about other states) and they can spark up conversation.

Where at in Iowa? I'm an Alaskan to the core now (and we only get 6 letters on our plates so I'm screwed), but I was born in Iowa...like James T. Kirk. hee hee

Hah, shininess!! Be proud, my fellow Keystone Browncoat! Guess that's one less FF-themed plate I can get here in PA...unless CAPTMAL is still available...

DONCOAT

I did some investigating into vanity plates in Massachusetts. Unfortunately they're not as good a deal here. It takes $50 just to get the plates, then $73 a year for renewal (as opposed to $42 every two years for regular plates).

"SHINY" is taken, and vanities are limited to six characters instead of seven. So BRNCOAT wouldn't be possible here. Some other 'versical plates do seem to be available though.

However, I'm not sure the extra money can be justified even at my level of geekiness...

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I don't have custom plates, but I do have the frame that says Serenity on the top and "Knowing which River not to cross" on the bottom.

I love it because someone that is not a fan probably thinks it some kind of proverb or feng shui thing :)
