Stargate's 200th episode is airing this Friday on SciFi Channel at 9:00pm EST. There is supposed to be many, many, many science fiction references listed, including one for Firefly.

As some of you know, Morena Baccarin (Adria) will be appearing on Stargate soon as Claudia Black's (Vala) daughter.

Don't you just adore cross-series shenanigans?

There are sure to be more, I'm almost positive. At the very least, it'll be a test of how much SciFi we really know! LOL

It will be interesting to see how they plan to pull off the Firefly mention/spoof! I think they will do it justice...I hope!

To MAVOURNEEN, I'm not sure but I think Mitchell would be better as Cap'n Tightpants, Teal'c Definitely Jayne! Carter possibly as Kaylee. I'd LOVE to see Claudia as "Nara! Jackson as Simon...maybe.

This time around, the SG-1 team helps Lloyd turn Wormhole X-treme into a movie. “Even though the series was canceled after three episodes, it did well on DVD,” Wright said. “It’s a little nod to Serenity, I suppose.” Serenity is based on the failed Fox TV series Firefly, which was canceled in the middle of its first season, but which went on to sell well on DVD, warranting a feature film.
