I know everyone is guessing who Joss will pick for Wonder Woman but I'm curious who he'll pick for WW's male sidekick/potential love interest Steve Trevor. The chemistry could make or break the movie.

Who would you like to see paired together? The best would be Morena/Nathan but I think Joss will be saving that paring for another Serenity movie.

See I think Adam might make a good Steve....but I'd bet he'd want to go outside the Firefly family for the second member.
Hmmmm that's tough I don't really know enough about the character to make an informed decision, but I think I'll fall back on Kevin Smith's mantra... Affleck can do it

If I remember the Lynda Carter series that was set in the WWII era (I think the original WW comics were written then). Steve T. is the Army officer that helps WW and is just a little in love with her. I have forgotten if he knows that her alter ego-Navy Yeoman Diana (I forgot the last name she used) is WW but in the series she was his secretary.

Lyle Waggoner of the Carol Burnett show played him in the series and played him a little campy and oh so upright and red, white and blue.

I know this dates me horribly.

BTW It would broaden the appeal of WW if one of the leads isn't from the Firefly family, but I assume we'll see some familiar faces in the other supporting roles.

Diana's last name was Prince.
Lynda Carter played WW and Diana.
During WWII, Major Steve Trevor landed on Paradise Island and was rescued by Diana, Princess of Themyscara.
Diana brought him back to the "world of men".

I read that this will likely be the story but will be set on modern day. And according to Joss, there will be more mythology.

If Morena will get to play WW/Diana. I can't help laughing in my seat if Nathan would be Trevor. I think he has the Steve Trevor hair.

Nathan has played military figures. It will be fun to see him opposite Morena. Imagine Steve Trevor bickering with Wonder Woman all throughout the flim.
Cracking up all the time while filming a $100M+ movie, Joss would be DELIGHTED.
Jude Law could play Trevor. But I'l' still go with a slightly unknownactor.
They'll have Morgan Freeman as the veteran actor. (like that of Kevin Spacey in Superman Returns). The lead roles should be a relative unknown.
OR we could have the guy from 40 Year Old Virgin.

Just can't see Jude Law as ST-YUCK! Steve Carell-star power but is thought of by me as too comedic an actor.

Can't use too young a unknown guy as ST is supposed to be a Major-that suggests an age of at least 30-35. Not too many slightly unknown actors in that age range-that puts Nathan front and center.

Nathan and Morena bickering on film and breaking up on set would be priceless. I'd give anything to see film from a hidden camera that's on set all the time, not just the outtakes.
