So, good news and bad news...

First the bad, I can't make it this time, I looked up the address and it's 4 1/2 hours away. (I live in Indiana.) HOWEVER, next time, when there's more notice, my husband and I would love to come.

**Before you get cranky again, I know that no one got notice, and I so appreciate your efforts. We just work complicated shifts, so we'd get back about an hour before we'd have to wake up to go to work. Not so good.

Now, the good news...I got your postcard today. Shiny! Mine are still late (The cat chewed up ones I'd written, and you wouldn't believe how hard it is to find stationary in my tiny little town. But it made a bad day better, and I appreciate it.

I found out just about an hour ago that my Mom has a tumor. So you don't know how much better it made me feel to come home and see your little postcard in my mailbox.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom, I just had a friend go through the whole tumor thing, and it was not a party! I hope it turns out to be benign!

I'm sorry you can't make the shindig, we are hoping to make this a monthly meet up, so with any luck we well do this often, I will defintly post if it does, and if you go to the Michigan Browncoats yahoo group, we have a calendar that will have it posted as well, let me get you that e-addy...

I'm glad you liked my postcard! I couldn't find anything good around here either, I ended up ordering those off of Amazon, they also have some with Dim Sum, I think I am going to get those next!

Cat chewed up your cards huh??? I have a cat with a paper fetish too...it's very weird, she has even been known to chew up books...
