Just thought that I should throw my gorramn tw0-cents in for the benefit of all the true fans out there.
I am officially converted. Don't get me wrong, I still love Star Trek, but the appeal of FireFly and the movie "Serenity" has put me up in arms over the cancellation of the show.
I was working nights when FireFly aired and didn't get to watch it then. Of course, I always found time for ST, but as a die hard fan, I always found time.
My brother tipped me off to FireFly (he lent me the DVD collection). I watched it and now have bought it, the movie, and just about anything I can get my grubby little mitts on. So, to Joss Whedon, the cast and the crew. Thank you!

Welcome to the 'verse, MasterVoyager. Good to have you here. As a fellow Star Trek fan, I know what you're talkin' about. This is just an amazing show! It has an appeal nothing else seems to have. Doesn't mean you stop liking the other shows... it's just in my case anyway... I fell in love with this show.

We're all up in arms about the cancellation of the show and we're lookin' to do something about it. We've had a campaign all summer long, called the Summer of Serenity where we're doin' stuff to make this fandom grow. We'd love it if you'd join us in any of the activities we're doin'. Check out the Browncoat Events forum on the right of the main page.. there are links to plenty of plans.

Now, since you're new.. you need a browncoat. Granted it's a virtual browncoat.. but it is symbolic of our welcoming you to our family. For that is what this is. This site is our home.
