i think a second series would be much better than a second movie, i considerably prefered the series to the movie, i mean the movie was good, but the series just kicked butt!

so wadda you reckon'?

Is there actually anyone who, given the choice, would not have chosen more episodes over one two-hour movie?

I'm with you. I'd rather see a second season of Firefly than another movie, easy.

Hell, I'll take whatever I can get but since it's an either or thing... Most definitely Firefly S2

I'll take whatever I can get my grubby little Browncoat hands on. However, given the choice, I'll take Firefly S2 over Serenity2. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the movie, but I'd prefer a renewed series.

Yeah, if we're given the choice, I'd take a second series.

The Firefly verse deserves the expanded time that a TV series allows.

I love the series, and I love the movie. But just by balancing a 2 hour movie versus roughly 20 episodes of firefly delight makes me want a new season of the series more.

YINYANG

You were busy trying to get yourself lit on fire. It happens.

I'll take what I can get, even Joss writing all the secrets of Firefly on his death bed (and, hopefully, I will be alive to read the book). But, it's much more enjoyable to have many hours of goodness in the comfort of my home. Another movie would be spiffy, too - but to want more than that just makes sense... right?

Modification:

How about this, which would you prefer.

One 22 episode season with about the same budget as the first season

or

2 more movies (trilogy) with slightly bigger budgets than the BDM?

Really, I'll take whichever is offered...

with the understanding that Mr. Whedon has carte blanche and no longer needs to fight for anything (unless he finds himself needing the fight artistically)

...but I too would prefer more seasons on television.

Easily take a 2nd series over a sequel but a sequel is at the moment more likely.

A second season hands down. As I've posted many times in here before, I was not a big fan of the BDM and it's careless squandering of great characters and plot elements.

There were times when the special effects in the series didn't look quite right (namely when the flames went through the cargo bay), but all in all the series isn't about eye candy. It's about characters. And movies don't give much time for the characters. So my preference would be first to have the series back, second to have a mini-series (the best of both worlds), and then to have a movie. If I can't have any of those, give me a freakin' animated series or SOMETHING! ANYTHING! Sorry... getting excited again...

I would definitly prefer a season two, but to be perfectly honest I think that it wouldn't be as likely to happen as a second movie would...

Second series definitely.

It could be set before serenity and allow all killed characters some extra air time. Fill the gap the film introduced.

There was so much more to Mal and Shepherd that was not explored and so much fun could be had with rivers blossoming powers before her fully fledged reaver meltdown
