I'm dithering on this. I don't have a lot of money, but I do have a birthday coming up, and I'm wondering whether to freak my family and long-suffering husband out by whinging for a ticket.

However, I want to know if there will be other shiny folks attending, or if I am going to be very old and out of place?

The nice thing about the Serenity conventions is you get people of all age groups, both genders and all levels of enthusiasm for Firefly involved. Lots of friendly people to talk to, lots of things to do, lots of tempting stuff to buy in the dealers's room.

Go on, you know you want to.
