KEYOKE

Mines from a Raymond E. Fiest novel.

I sometimes use Deiwos from a David Eddings novel, and when im feeling original I go by either Dancing_Stupidity, or Caelisk, which are both my own creations.

THESOMNAMBULIST

Favourite silent film is a flick called : The Cabinet of Dr Caligari.

In it the main character Dr Caligari travels around with, oddly enough, a cabinet :D wherein he has imprisoned a Somnambulist (sleepwalker), who he releases upon the unsuspecting townsfolk, to commit unspeakable deeds, literally!! (It's a silent film remember.)

I've always been partial to latin, on account of I used to study it - briefly at school many moons ago - and this one I first used when I produced some music and although I changed it for that purpose on account of it being a little too long for nifty designs, I always kinda wanted to use it somewhere again. So there you have it.

Alea jacta est..... as the romans always say :D

PHOENIXROSE

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

Heh, my name is almost boring compared to some. But it's still shiny!
Um, so the Phoenix is my spirit animal. One of them, anyway. I've always identified with fire on many levels, and there have been times in my life where I felt like I was burning away, but once it was over I was a better person. When I meditated on my totems, one of them was a bird made completely of fire. Hence the phoenix part. Rose is my name. Creative, eh?
Well, there's still a lot of meaning in my name for me.

DEEPGIRL187

I could have sworn that I posted on this thread. But since I haven't (at least, not that I saw), here's my two cents.

I'm terrible at coming up with handles (not to mention passwords), so I arbitrarily use my surroundings to make them up. In this case, I remember the police code for murder (so sue me, I was a kid) as being 187. And at the time, I was listening to "Deep" by Nine Inch Nails. So there you have it, uncreative though it may be. My passwords tend to follow in the same vein. One time it was blurry187 (for "Blurry" by Puddle Of Mudd) and another time it was float187 (for "Float On" by Modest Mouse) Like I said, uncreative, but hey, it works.

At last.
We can retire and give up
this life of crime.

DANCINGNEKO

Mine's a bit strange...

Used to go by Ukyou (one of my favorite characters in Ranman 1/2) in several Multi-User games (MUDs, MUSHes, etc.), until someone pointed out to me that it looked like my name was *U*k-you (it's pronounced "oooh kyo" dangit!).

Then started using a Elfquest based name (I worship the ground that the the Pinis fertile imagination grows on) "Leafdancer," 'cept it's too much like Wash's "...leaf on the wind..." statement (and my name is older than that!).

...so decided to go with one of my later online sign-in names...Dancingneko... because I like dancing ('tho I do not claim to be good at it), cats, and Japanese things...

ZZETTA13

Thought that I'd already done the "Whats in a name" thread on this board. But guess I haven't. Anyway here goes.

zzetta13 = a tip of the hat to world famous si/fi artist Frank Frazetta. Painter of the famous Conan covers of the early 1970 paperback books. He's also famous for painting Tarzan and did some painting for the original Battlestar Galactica in the tv-guide when it first came on television years ago. He is known by most everyone in the art field today and known to directors G.Lucas,P.Jackson and many others.

Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

TEACHDAIRE

Mine is a total rip off from a character listed in a Shadowrun RPG sourcebook. Teachdaire is an Irish assassin with off the scale firearms skills. The name itself is from the gaelic word meaning "messenger". I used to play counterstrike on my brother's account, and picked up some excellent abilities with the various sniper rifles therein (which my bro couldn't use for squat, he's more of a spray and pray shooter), so I picked the name for my character, and It's the one I use for all my online personas (and a couple of real life ones too).

BAD2VERSE

My Best Friend and Business Partner is Swedish... We were talking on the phone the day I joined here (Or at least stopped lurking) and he said something about things with his assistant going "From Bad to Verse" and I thought " 'Verse" heh heh heh, play on words... "Bad2Verse".. there's a lot of layers that can be true on.

CANTTAKESKY

Cool thread. I guess I signed on FFF early enough to get this name. However, I've used it everywhere, and it's never been taken elsewhere either.
