BAD2VERSE

Someone posted the link to " www.makeusmiletees.com" the other day, and Friday morning I e-mailed them and asked how long it would take to get shirts to my house from their place... I explained that we needed them before Dragon*Con

Someone wrote back and said they could have them here in 2 days if I used that shipping option, IF I ordered that day (Friday), because they were going out of town also...

I ordered the shirts Friday afternoon and used the "2 day air" option for shipping.. Figuring they'd be here Monday or Tuesday (2 "Business" days)

TODAY, SUNDAY, the PostLady knocks on the door with a package to sign for.. I had to look at my watch AND Calendar to be SURE it was SUNDAY... The PostLady said that for rush shipments they will deliver on Sundays... And we live so far out in the country they have to pipe in Sunlight...

I have NEVER had a package delivered on a Sunday.. . These guys don't fool around.. When he said "Two days", he MEANT, "TWO DAYS"

BTW, The Shirts look GREAT! I got us the ones with the Ship's logo on the front "Serenity" with the Circle and Chinese writing in the background... So you'll see us in 'em at Dragon*con

I Figured if they went to the extra trouble to get 'em here that fast, they needed some public Kudos for it!

I ordered two t shirts from them Friday too (Firefly and Dear Buddha) but selected standard shipping. Alas, I'm not going to Dragon Con so there is no rush. Maybe next year.

They are NICE "Heavy Weight" Shirts! WELL worth the money. I expected them to be lighter weight, but was happily surprised.

Glad to hear that they are heavy weight. Nothing worse than a thin, thin t shirt

No, technically if you order it 2nd day air on Friday you would normally get it on Tuesday, and you don't count the day you order it. You must have had a "special" service where you got it on the weekend. I know UPS does a Saturday delivery and you pay a butt load for it. UPS even has what is called Sonic Air. And that is same day delivery. That is really pricey!!

And thin T-shirts only go well on hot chicks.

Can't argue with ANY of that ;) Like I said, it's the first time I've EVER gotten a Sunday delivery... of course, this is a small town, and when they see "Express" in big letters they probably think it's pretty important... Go figure.
It got from Ohio to Northern Ga in under 2 days, and got delivered on a SUNDAY... unbelievable... I wish my Business suppliers were that prompt!

I DID pay about 18 bux for 2 day air, but, like you said, I was expecting a Tuesday delivery (wishing Monday, but expecting Tuesday).. never believed it'd be delivered on a Sunday!

There are so many shiny shirts available now.

Might get some people to check out the movie and series when they see all these happy Browncoats in Serenity/Firefly stuff. I like wearing my Serenity Logo shirt when I go out to the movies.

Remember to post your War Stories. We love reading about conventions.

Note: You don't want to bleach the shirt if you get it in white -- I lost a little of the light blue detailing. But just a little. Good quality, too. But I've only purchased the women's tees.
