When you are constantly asked by your friends why you are stalkin' with an American accent? (Especially when you are NOT American!!)

And when your best friend (whom you've already converted) just reminds you to "stop talkin' Kaylee to folks as don't know it!"

...when you make references (i.e. using quotes, etc.) to Firefly when talking with the person who converted you into a Browncoat and even (s)he doesn't recognize them.

By the way, hats off to the one who spent two hours perfecting Fruity Oaty Bar on a cell phone (I don't remember who said that at the moment). That's incredible.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one, so I joined starfleet and was stationed at the SGC to fight the covenant, whos gate happens to be down, and through which I must cast the ring from whence it came. It was our last best hope for peace but it failed so millions of voices cried out and were suddenly silent but there was no spoon and also no fate but what we make for ourselves.
-I thought of that in the shower

...when you have 5 minutes of time on the internet and you use it to drop in on FFF.net rather than check your emails!

...when you start convincing the kids you used to nanny & /or babysit (& are old enough) that they have to watch Firefly or you will stop sending them birthday/Christmas cards/gifts...

...When the next door neighbour drops in to do his washing (coz his machine is on the blink) and you insist he sit down and watch the series with you... and then refuse to let him borrow the boxed set to see the rest, so he has to buy it himself

)

...When the 5 year old you currently nanny sings the Ballad of Serenity and parts of 'The Man they call Jayne' and you are trying so hard not to teach her the Fruity Oaty Bar song coz it gets stuck in your head!

... When you cotact a friend you haven't been in touch with for months to tell her to see if there's a screening of the BDM in London coz she's GOT to see it!

There's more... but that's enough for now!
