..."until they grease you"... are you putting your dirty mind to use on the imponderables thread...?

OK, OK good point you two - e-slut it is! But I like the sound of whorin'... sounds more like the 'verse than the real world...

Mwaah - Magdalena x x x

*disclaimer - if I ever meet any of you 'in the flesh' (out of the gutter girl!!!) then please note there is a huge difference between e-slut and actual slut!*

There - I don't mind kissing my mother with this mouth now... what ever that means... ??? *whistles noncholently and pretends her mind was never in the gutter...*

I don't squeak. I snarl I'm finding that I can't get on with the fic because I'm worried about how much I might be getting wrong. I like to think I'm fairly near Joss' 'vision', but if I'm way out, then the whole thing is just going to stop.

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

Hehe, I knew that would be taken all dirty. And yet I posted it anyway. Do you think that's a commentary on me?
And of course there's a difference! Lord and Lady, I've slept with one man in my life, I'm hardly a slut. Dirty-minded? Yeah. Worth any wait for what I can give? I think so. Fall into bed with anyone? Hells no!

If it's any consolation SpaceANGL I only got hold of the 'Serentiy Official Visual Companion' today!!!!! And I also got hold of the graphic novel 'Those Left Behind' - I'm half way through reading 'Finding Serenity' and also bought the novel of the BDM!!!

Uh... sorry that turned into an excited kind of ramble about all the shiney goodies in my life... not very comforting of me...

Then again - there are children starving in the Philippines... ... sorry - I'm a bit confuzzled today... (and I'm clearly not over this emote thing yet!!!)

EDIT: Ooooh - we posted together again Gorgeous One!! (...and I've been celibate for 4 years, but lets keep that between us...OK?)

*sigh* Husband is away for a month.

I think I might have to go and find a copy of 'Finding Serenity'. The bookshops around here are so pathetic on the sci-fi front. They are pretty crap on the crime fiction front, too. It's all airport style thrillers.

Aaaaah yes, all excellent books! I'm re-reading bits of Finding Serenity and the novel, all while reading the Companion Vol 1 to the show, and next I think I should re-read at least the "brief history" part of the Serenity Companion.
Yes, such shinyness.
*snickers* You'll never get over the emotes, darlin! You should srart your own photobucket account so you can save and keep track of the best ones, like this one that Penguin fixed to show up here:

OK... here's a shocking confession... I actually did set up a photobucket account for myself - managed that OK! BUT now I have no idea how to do anything with it... I grew up too early have a clue about computerly things... now you know why I am so proud of my ability to actually post emotes...

Sorry - I know you're all losing repect for me by the minute... I am computer illiterate!!!

The easiest thing to do is if you find a smilie or picture you like is to right click on it, save it somewhere on your computer, and then upload it to photobucket.

Here's an excellent tutorial written by some bird!

See, this is instance where I wish I could just sit down with you and the computer and show you what to do!
The albums on photobucket tripped me up for a bit...
OK, so that big white box at the top of the screen is where you upload. You can browse your own computer hard-drive or you can click the option of uploading from a URL and copy that in.
See the bird's tutorial for more on that
*edit* Look at that! You were posting and I was posting and you probably know now... Well good!

This is getting long. Hope no one minds if I start a new one? http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=2&t=23794

I'll save you some coin. Don't bother...it really isn't that good. There are about six pieces worth having (3,4,20-23)and listening to, the rest is very odd. Too dramatic to really use as a regular CD...and the levels are off. One piece will be so quiet you can't hear it, the next is blasting you out of house and home.

Now, the Firefly soundtrack is EXCELLENT. I highly recommend that one. They did a wonderful thing by combining shorter pieces of music so your not just listening to 15 second blurbs.

For those of you putting CDs in the wrong cases, I say EGADS! How can you find anything that way? My roomie always hated me for this, but that was one of my rules. You change the CD, you put the old one back in its proper case. DVDs have the same rule. I would go crazy if they got put around all willy nilly. (and don't get me started about just leaving CDs or DVDs lying around out of their cases.....I'm not neurotic, I swear. )

I know there's a new thread, but I wanted to get the reply to PaginPaul (if the notices are indeed working again...)

I love the vent! Wow. Poetic venting. Nothing I can ever manage. I may have to try next time I'm down...
