"Yuma news: Alan Tudyk online -- "A very reliable source told us Alan signed up for a new movie directed by James Mangold (Walk The Line). The movie is called 3:10 To Yuma, starring Russell Crowe and Christian Bale. It's a western and Alan will be playing a character called Doc Potter." [The Henry Jones part in the original]

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Thanks for the info Chindi.

The original movie was not one of my favorite Glen Ford westerns, but it was good. "Doc" Potter in the original was the town drunk. Guess Alan will get to play an alcoholic unless the new version differs from the original.

Good to see Alan getting work.

He's also getting early rave reviews for his role in Frank Oz's Death at a Funeral and has a role in Judd Apatow's Knocked Up. 2007 is shaping up to be a good year for Alan.

Hey this will be a great little remake.. they just got a studio to back it. I think Alan will CHARM Mr. Crowe.. and I hope Nathan comes visiting.. it can only be a goooood thing.

Alan seems to be working pretty steady (as do all the BDH) and that is a very good thing
