May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Quote:Originally posted by Nicodemus: It was aired in Australia? Don't think it ever made it to Adelaide. Still, with the way channel 7 treats sci-fi shows, I think I'm glad that my first viewing of the series was on DVD, so that I could watch it at a decent hour of the day, in order, and not worry about any hiatus. As for the name, it wasn't directly biblicly inspired (yay for atheism), despite most ppl thinking I got the name that way (except for some on the old stargate command site, who thought it was named after a Richard Dean Anderson character on one of his less-well-known shows). No, sad but true, the name is taken from that of an alligator in Tom Clancy's novel Clear And Present Danger (they threaten drug runners with being fed to the 'gator). Anyway, I look forward to interacting with ppl on here more in the near (and hopefully also far-flung) future.
