You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

Mmmmmmmm, all this talk of fruit juice. Can I have a fresh strawberry mango shake? Thankee.

I notice one of our shiny patrons is still unclear on the magic of s'mores. I refer her here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S'more And I'm sure you could find a substitute for the grahm crackers. Good as they are, it's really the chocolate and warm gooey marshmallow that makes them soooooo good!

Well, I laughed, I cried and I cheered, all at the appropriate moments during the BDM. So now I'se after some stuff to help me mellow out. Maybe some CC and lemonade, plus a bowl of pretzels.

Belly up to the bar! And enjoy!

Kaneman - Glad you dropped by. Beer, shot and a pickled egg. No problem! Oh and that bald guy is crying because he thought this was a Start Trek Pub.

heya all!
nite-nite Magda.. sleep well.
so, Magda or Nico...who ended up winning the grand final anyway?? wait, who was playing??

(Magda, i didn't know you were a wombat!! they are so cute!! -and, yes, capable of extreme damage..but hey still cute!)

hehehe that reminds me of a couple of weeks ago, my friend had an American guy over here and they were telling him about their recent camping trip. my friends were driving to their camp site and while driving down the dirt road they noticed that up ahead a wombat was sitting on the road. so they stopped the car a few metres away and waited for it to move -taking the opportunity to drink some beers- and continued their journey when it had wandered off. the American guy could not understand why they had waited for the wombat instead of shoo-ing it off. we all were dumbfounded at this suggestion and tried to explain that wombats are HUGE in real life, are incredibly powerful and also pretty fast if they want to be and if they had tried to 'shoo' it off this wombat could have done some serious damage to them- they can even write-off a car if they're angry enough. we were like; 'please remember that ALL animals in OZ are dangerous as hell and the ones that can't poison you, can rip your arm off.' hell, even 'cute cuddly' koalas (bastards) would happily kill the tourists holding them, if they weren't high on eucalyptus all the time...

anyhoo...i will have a strawberry daquari please Bar-Bot.
think i'll check out the pyre...feeling a bit chilly...ciao

Wrong code of football. The grand final I was talking about was the AFL. West Coast beat Sydney by 1 point.

Final scores: West Coast Eagles 13.13.85 d. Sydney (or South Melbourne for the VFL fanatics) 13.12.84

Mornin' fellow bar patrons,

Pretty quiet here it seems. I don't know anything about real football, just the stuff we call football in the US, so I can't really comment on the teams or matchups or anything.

Anyhow, I think it's time for a Monday morning Black Russian, with vanilla vodka if there is any.

Seems like there's no place in Detroit for Amber colored drinks. Vernor's is gone, too, but at least you can still get it. Had the pleasure last year of explaining a Boston Cooler to a couple from Boston. Gotta go but maybe our friends from Oz can benefit from another great American tradition. And then we can move on to Buffalo Wings a la Jessica Simpson...

Vernors hasn't been Vernors since Pepsi took it over. I don't know what they're doing to it, but I can't drink it...it upsets my stomach. Ginger isn't suppose to do that! (Actually I think it's the corn syrup. I have problems with it.)

Hmm...I wonder.
