Now I am learning about scary.

Anybody wanna guess which show was included? Anybody??

Okay, here's the intro to the story:
Quote:

These shows didn't live long, but they have prospered in the TV-geek land of posting boards and tape trading. The legacies of some live on through DVD sets and syndication; others may collect dust in Hollywood vaults forever.
These shows were gone before their time but we never forgot them; they are the reason we love TV, and the reason we hate it. They prompted unsolicited gifts to networks (a stuffed Donkey to save "Wonderfalls," a plastic dinosaur to show support for "Firefly") and spiteful boycotts--at least until the start of the next cool show that could use a little bit of lovin'.
They are the one-season wonders. Here are 22 of the best (unlike most of these shows, this column made it a full season).

The story was written by John Hansen and appeared in my local newspaper on Sunday, October 1, 2006. The first three shows listed are "My So-Called Life," "Freaks and Geeks" and our own beloved "Firefly."

Quote:

Why it's great: Joss Whedon's only non-Buffyverse TV project combined the imagination of "Star Wars"--with its lived-in, Western worlds--and the complex characters of, well, "Buffy" or "Angel." The movie "Serenity" furthered the story somewhat as it raised the galactic stakes, but this would-be epic saga burned out too soon on the small screen.

Woo-hoo! I thought everyone might enjoy that.

Thank you Savewash. It shows what these fansites can do. The mere existance of this site shines a light on Firefly. Makes you want to snap your suspenders and yell SHINY.
