This just in from Les over at Serenitymovie.net:

The Signal won the Peoples Choice Podcast Award for Best Produced! We learned about a month ago about winning the Movies & Film award, but the Best Produced award was just announced late Friday. A big thanks to all of you who voted. We really owe it all to our audio engineers who put in long hours to ensure that everything is just right before we release. If you ever wonder why our shows are sometimes a day late, its because of the extra effort being put in to make them as good as they can be. I sincerely hope that that will help bring more attention to Firefly & Serenity and further the Browncoat cause that we all support.

Les

Congrats to the Signal!

Congrats!!!

I am going to get an iPod here in the next month or so, how do I tune in to this? Gotta check out anything keeping the 'verse alive and Serenity flying...

You don't need an Ipod to listen. They are just mp3 files you can play on your computer, although a portable mp3 player like an Ipod makes it easier to listen while on the go or at work, etc.

Go to http://signal.serenityfirefly.com/ and download an epiosde or to and listen on your computer. And then, while you're at it, go to http://fireflytalk.libsyn.com/ and download and listen to Firefly talk, NEXT year's winner of a podcast award. Both shows really are entertaining, and worth you time, and both websites have all the shows from the past, so you'll probably want to download them all and listen and catch up!

THANK YOU!!! Admittedly this will take forever because of my dialup connection but I can work at it for a couple of weeks and get caught up. Looking forward to some 'verse shininess!

BelowZero, you're in for a treat. There's nothing like getting your weekly (or bi-weekly) fix of news and entertainment concerning Firefly/Serenity from The Signal and Firefly Talk. After a few episodes, many of the voices you hear will become "old friends", and a lot of music associated with FF/BDM will start to have different connotations associated with it because of some of the intro and bumper material used between segments.

If anyone else hasn't listened to one of these excellent podcasts, you don't know what you're missing, and I highly recommend them!
