Tonight on Spike TV at 10 Serenity is up for a Scream Award in the category of Best SciFi Film. Running against Aeon Flux, V for Vendetta and War of the Worlds.
Everyone tune in and cross your fingers.

Heres the wierd thing though... I watched with great anticipation putting up with lame pop punk bands, ditsy hostesses and poor special effects just to have the top three categories, Best Scifi Movie, Best Horror Movie, and Ultimate Scream to be presented not by an actual celebrity who read the nominees and then handed the award to someone affilated with the movie who gave an acceptance speech but instead were brought to me by Hot Topic on the way to a commercial break where voice over read the winners in a timespan of about 10 seconds. By far, worst award show I've ever wasted my time watching (regardless of Serenity's loss).
