Can anyone recommend a marker pen that wont smudge or wipe off when used on tin?

I'm hopefully going to get Summer Glau to sign my Firefly and Serenity collectors Tins at a expo this weekend and i'm wanting her mark on there permanently.

Any ideas?

Sharpies or similar. As long as it isn't touched or smeared for a few minutes, it should stay on there.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

My wife uses Sharpies for her signings and it stays forever. Like PhoenixRose said, so long as it is allowed to dry a minute or so without being touched it will not smear & will be permanent.
