Hey.
Just wanted to say that many months ago in the spring, I sent in a request to the lbirary at McGill University(in Montreal), to have the Serenity DVD. Well I didn't hear back from them, so I figured it was not going to ahppen, until I looked through their audio-visual cataloguqe to look for stuff to rent(but for free), I found they had it!!! They listened to m , I am shocked! And even better, it is out! So someone s watching it!

My next plan is to put in a request fo Firefly. HM.......

So I write this not only is it cool, folks on other campuses should try this out to!

Here is a direct linK!

Wow...now if I only could persuade the big cheeses at Queen's to do the same;)

Wonder what library it would end up in? Hmm...

Hey.
Hmm queens eh? cool. Well I know mcgill has an audio-visual collection at one physical location. They said the request ahd to fit in wit hthe rest of the colleciton, and they have anumber of sci f istuff from the matrix and sequels to star wars, to Blade Runner, so in my request I said Serenity is a well written sci fi western that was highly praised...I mentioend it had an 80% fresh tomatoe reading on rotten tomatoes.

If you try it from that angle, maybe you will be lucky.

Congratulations! And this also works with public libraries too! Also some libraries will accept donations and put them in circulation.

More info on libraries and Joss Whedon see
http://www.whedonverse.org

Also some libraries have movie nights and are open to suggestions!

Heh. It's not every day you come to Fireflyfans.net and see your university mentioned. *g*

I never even would have thought about looking through the audiovisual department for Serenity. Great job!

And I'm glad someone's currently renting it. Obviously, McGill students are smart.
