Long night tonight. I made so ruttin many strawberry daquiris, made from scratch strawberry lemonades (both with fresh strawberries), and mojitos. Also lots of beer and a decent amount of wine and other coctails.

I really should be in bed, seeing as I am approaching 21 hours since I got up. I just wanted to drop in for a nightcap, so I think I will have a warm snifter of brandy and doze off by the fire.

ok everybody, the next round is on me! hmm...allowing for the fact that almost everyone is on the other side of the world...BarBot, put all drinks ordered in the next 24 hours on my tab.
oh, no, wait, i just remembered that we don't pay for anything here

...oh, well, anyway...theoretically, the next round is mine

because....(optional drum-roll here)
i just (in the last week or so) decided that i'm not going to continue on to my masters next year, i'm just going to finish my postgrad diploma this year and then bugger off out of uni. YAY!!

i wasn't stressing about it, but now that i've decided, its feels so freeing not to have the whole huge 'masters' thing hanging over me. i mean, really, who the hell gets their masters when they're 22?? i want to go out and live for a while.

now all i have to do is convince my parents...
