Another initiativ that might be worth supporting in favor of the firefly series. The OP says in his post:

"Here is an idea. All Firefly and Serenity fans post a reply to this thread. Like the Big **** Thank You site, except one very important difference. Sci-Fi / Universal own this site, and see statistics on BBoard usage. Let's let them know how many of us are out there and that we are very interested in further seasons, movies, DVDs, etc. Let's make the Firefly section of this BBoard be the most active one on the site. We can do it. Here is where it counts people. Let's help Serenity to keep flying.

All those reporting in, spread the word to your favorite forums and boards. The Browncoats are called to active duty!"

Went over and signed in, after not being able to log in for a couple of days.

Wrote 1toSmile who frequents here and there and she told me that they'd revamped the board.
It's very shiny!

This is such a good idea, if everyone from all the other boards would hit the SciFi/Firefly board hot and heavy and every day and make it a very busy place, surely they'd notice.

and perhaps they're on sciffy's S list. To
prevent the spam-sweeper from pitchng my
incoming, all I have to do is put the
sender's address in my book and things
come through okay, but what a bore to
explain it all, so if anyone doesn't want
to send me stuff at ELink I usually just
slink away and do whatever-it-is with someone
else. Or not.

I've got Earthlink as well and had problems with a local list I'm on when I first joined EL. The addy was in my addy book, but it still kept chomping it until the guy who ran the list had a nice long talk with my ISP. Gah!

This is why I have a Yahoo as backup. I tend to use it for thinks I think may incur spam (mailing lists for stores, etc) or if it will be visible in a public forum, so I don't have my main account blowing a gasket. It's easier to dump a Yahoo account and get another than it is for your main ISP.
