I agree with MsG about "taking care" of Ms. Indelible, but really MsG...shave her bald and snatch her through town? Why? I mean, really...drag her through town first then do what I threaten some of my students with: paint her hair with crazy-glue, stick her to the ceiling (at least 14 feet up) and leave her there for gravity to work with... (If you want to be "nice" you can stick a foam mattress under her so she doesn't smack the floor too hard.)

I usually threaten to stip 'em naked, paint 'em purple and dump 'em on the White House lawn when there's a press conference happening.

What?

Yeah, well, flying them to D.C. is waaay to expensive for me (since I'm on the other side of the nation). I have thought of threatening to make them the newest human sacrifice to the volcanos on the Big Island...

This leaves me with nothing to say. Nothing whatsoever.

Shinykitten: I can completely sympathize with you. My personal problem is my ears, which have been getting at least two infections every year for as long as I can remember. I'm starting to get concerned that the constant onslaught of pus and infection is starting to damage my hearing. Also, I do have problems breathing... most of the time... when I'm at home. I'm convinced that my house is packed to the frame with mold (considering its been in three major floods, one which submerged the basement in three inches of wather...). Whenever I'm away from the house, my breathing's better, but it's by no means good. You don't know what I'd pay to be able to sleep with my mouth closed.

Anyway...

I ain't lookin' for help from on high. That's a damn long wait for a train don't come.

MAGDALENA

"No power in the 'verse can stop me!"

ha ha ha... I think you have threatened to do that to me on several occassions my Neko-chan!! I don't mind though! I still love you - and I think I told you I missed you!!I'm loyal like that!

Whitefall! It's so good to see you! We do miss you too when you're not here!! But I'd say try opening a door for someone occassionaly - start with your parents, grandparents, elderly neighbour - the praise they (should) give you will become addictive in time - you'll get a buzz from knowing you made someone smile! My 3 little charges do (ages 5,7 & 8)!!

Gosh I miss everyone around here! So many folk missing at the weekends - where are you?

*pauses to listen to the echoing of her own voice*

*sigh* I'll just have to wait for tonight then...

That works, too. Actually DC's a bit of a distance from here as well. Maybe throwing them on DeVos's lawn and see who has the first heart attack? Sorry, DeVos isn't happy running Amway...he wants the entire state of Michigan now. There's a poster child for planned parenthood.

WHITEFALL

Yah! Magda said stuff! and stuff! and... well, i'm too lazy to find PR's beloved huggle emote, so here's a .

Well, i dunno about that, cause i've never really seen anyone actually appreciative of having doors opened for them and such, that its just kinda weird. Personally i think its kinda insulting, cause so often it means you have to run ahead of the other person or somesuch, or get in their way to grab the door... meh. I'd just as soon have me open my doors and them theirs. As for holding doors open for folk, that's fine, i do that.

Ugh, cold/throat/fever thing still here... and i still need to do civics. I went to rehearsal and back since my last post, but i still could have gotten a lot more done than i have. ugh. I hate (school/homework/college apps/SATs/SATIIs/letters of rec/one of the two shows i'm doing/the number of hours in the day/being sick/civics...) life. Not particularly fond of complaining either. So is that a commentary on me?

See right here i feel like i've given TMI and I should edit to make everyone happy, but it feels like i'm lying if i cut up what i wrote. blah.

P.S. Neko, i'm glad you're safe. When i heard about the earthquake, i thought "damn i hope Neko's O.K."... but then it said there were no casualties to speak of, so... well, still glad you're here.

"But, these strong women characters?"

"Why aren't you asking 100 other guys why they don't write strong women characters?" -Joss Whedon.

"We take all the money we got saved right now, we could maybe buy a moderately sized gerbil." -Mal

TRISTAN

Evening, all!
Just a quick hello before bedtime. I will be back at work tomorrow, and if there's not too much to catch up on there, I'll be in here.

Magda, don't worry. I do not kiss on the first date...I'm usually so nervous that remembering how to walk and talk take concentration.

Thank you, Penguin! I love chicken noodle soup...and there's nothing better for making people feel good.

Traveler, that was a fine explanation of how to treat women! I like the 'equal but special'!

RMMC, thank you. The date went very well. I'll give more details tomorrow when I am more awake.

ShinyKitten, good to see you back here! And let me add...Ouch!

Whitefall, what you described is what has hit almost everyone around here. Well, ok, maybe not like plague levels, but the Dr I went to see said that about 70% of the people he saw had that crud...starts with a sinus thing, works it's way into the upper respiratory tract, creating even more sinus problems. If not treated, it could lead to sinusitus...which does not sound like any fun. I hope you get well soon!

Hey, Neko! Yes, the date went well.
I like the idea of the superglue.

Ok, time for bed. I missed y'all the past few days...and hope to get caught up! I need to wander into the pub tomorrow...

(Thx to Desktop Hippie for the banner)
If you find yourself getting too worked up about stuff that isn't real (RP Threads etc), then go outside, breathe in some fresh air and try feeding the ducks. (Because ducks don't care about your politics, religion, skin colour, choice of music or even your haircut. They like everyone, provided you bring them food.)
