Another Monday...oy!

Briefly on the date...it went well. We had dinner at a nice restaurant accompanied by talk and comfortable, smiling silences. It turns out we have a lot more in common than we thought (I've known her from the Drama Dept for a few years), so we have decided to continue the dating and see what happens.
It's a nice change...to actually look forward to going out with someone.

MSG, no problem! I did not want to flood the pub with rambling...
We went to a nice restaurant in town, the kind with the prices discretely mentioned in passing...quiet atmosphere, wonderful servers, and phenomenal food. We spent most of the dinner catching up, but there were the times when the conversation stalled and we just smiled at each other. We have been catching up through email lately, so we knew this was going to happen, so we laughed or way through the quiet. We have quite a bit in common, so it's nice to be able to talk a little about a lot, if that makes sense. Both of us were a bit nervous, as this is a bit of a new experience for both of us...we've known each other as friends, and now as dates.

As for where we're going for the next date, I'm not entirely sure. She has an odd work schedule, so we figured that she can determine the time, and I will determine the place. I do know that she would eventually like me to take her to a shooting range (!), as it has been awhile since she did any target shooting. We are both food lovers, so there are a multitude of restaurants around here to keep us amused.

As to what she looks like...she's 4'11", a healthy weight, dark brown hair, vibrant green eyes, and a killer smile that is always lurking and sometimes dazzles. She is of mostly Irish heritage (another bonus!). The one downfall is that she does not drink coffee as much as I do...but I promised to remedy that!

Oh, and she has never heard of Firefly...but she is interested in watching it. So, if nothing else, I may be able to finally create a convert!
