Does anyone know if Joss actually smokes weed? I remember him jokingly saying that the idea for one episode came to him when he was really baked, so was he kidding around or does he smoke? I'm just curious because that would be pretty damn cool.

Woah. No offence, but I think this is not the kind of thing which should be speculated about online. He's got a family, 2 kids, and is a media name - plus, kinda his business.

I agree. What happens in a person's private life is just that. Private. Even if they're a media name, and a celebrity.

If a person wishes to share details about their private life, that's all well and good, but gossip is just a crime that should be punishable by being put on a reality tv show (another crime against humanity in my opinion).

Oh my god, it's just weed. And it's only normal to speculate about a public figure. So yes, I'm sure Joss has smoked up at least once in his life, if not regularly and currently. Doesn't make him a better or worse person, just nice to know there are other dimensions of him that some of his fans can relate to.

Yes, but there's a difference between somebody admitting to doing something, which is a real fact, and speculating that somebody does something. I refer you to Niska'a whole reputation speil in the Train Job as a point in fact.

But...he did "admit" it. Whether he was joking or not is the question. If you watch the commentary Nathan asks him how he got the idea for Firefly and Joss responds that he was smoking a lot of weed. No one is saying, "Gosh, he showed up at such-and-such premier with really bloodshot eyes," the fact is it came out of his mouth.

If HE were worried about people thinking he smokes pot, then HE wouldn't have said it.

Alan Tudyk and I live under Joss' bed, well it was getting crowded in there with all the stacks of national geographic articles about cannibalistic penguins and unrequited love letters from Sean Maher, so I had to kill Tudyk. The midget was easy, she is a regular.
