I was wondering if anyone has seen the movie "Water's Edge"?
It has Nathan Fillion in it.
It came out in 2004.
I was looking through Blockbusters website and did a search for Nathans name and all the stuff he did and this movie came up.
Is it worth the rent?

If you're a Nathan lover and I am.. it's definitely worth watching. Although I can't say that the other acting is good, or that the story always works... Nathan is very good in this. Particularly in one emotional scene, in which he just shines.

Have you seen Slither? I loved it and I'm not usually a horror movie fan. This movie is a must for Nathan watchers in my opinion.. he's so funny and spot on in his portrayal of Bill Pardy. Plus he looks mighty fine in his uniform.
The extras on the DVD are priceless too. If you love the gag reel for Firefly or Serenity.. you're gonna love this gag reel and the other extras that feature Nathan.

There has been news that "Outing Riley" another movie he made has found a distributor. His acting in this movie is supposed to be very good as well. It has a tentative release date of next year.

And... "White Noise: The Light" comes out in January. His co-star is the lady who plays Starbuck on BSG.
Early rumors are that this movie is GOOD. Can't wait!!

Just beware - it's got a Baldwin brother and his bad goatee in it. *shudders*

But I can overlook a bad goatee on a Baldwin brother for one particularly interesting scene on a dock...

No spoilers, esp if you are gonna rent it.

Oh yes, the scene on the dock and the wood chopping in the beginning!

Also, if you can find it Nathan did a Outer Limits episode in 1999 called "Starcrossed". It has a particularly annoying woman in it(she wasn't worth 2 songs!) but does have an EXCELLENT sauna scene.

The plot is borrowed from Casablanca but set in an entirely different situation.

I WAS gonna mention the Outer Limits episode, and post the screen cap of Nathan in bed... but photobucket deleted the pic, saying it violated their terms of service!!!

How on Earth does a Fillion Heinie violate anyone's terms of service???

Oh, well.

Good picture-gives me all sorts of good dreams.

Seems like there is suddenly an epidemic of "violating the terms of service" stuff doesn't it?

I rented Water's Edge a while back, and, I must say, really the only goodness in it is Nathan. I kept thinking how sad it was that such a fantastic actor had settle for that film.
It's entertaining in the way that makes MST3K films funny- plus, there's Nathan. :)

I hated Water's Edge, but I loved looking at Nathan. He's just sooo pretty. I do have the Outer Limit pic. Don't tell photobucket or they might take it away.

I made a web site to introduce my friends to the 'Verse.
