I had been talking non-stop about Supanova and Summer for more than a week and one of my friends finally snaps and says, ‘when you get there, why don’t you just kiss her?’
Jokingly I agreed and after some arguing it turned into a bet, if I could kiss Summer and prove it, then I would be awarded $30.
When I first approached Summer I was very nervous (not ‘cause of the bet, just because it was Summer). And I almost chickened out.
Then I thought, ‘hell with it’ and I go to Summer, “this might sound a little weird, but I have a bet going with some friends…” stupidly I paused (again nervous) and she looked completely freaked. Then I said “Can I kiss you, just on the cheek.”
Strangely she looked relieved, like this was normal to her.
Her agent took the photo (if he reads this, thanks), I got Summers autograph, and enjoyed my day.
Got the photos developed, and yesterday yours truly won $30.
Thank you Summer.
Just thought it was an interesting story to tell, how often can someone say they kissed Summer Glau?

I was a little worried when I saw that subject line. We all know Summer is the shy one who gets a little freaked out by rabbid fans. It sounds like you handled it perfectly though. Asked her permission and all that. Not just like a crazy fan who jumps out of a crowd and grabs her real quick to get the picture before she can react type of thing. Good job!
