Well, I'm done driving all over the countryside, the kid is watching the snake eat (yes, she thinks it's fun to watch the snake eat rats...I'm not sure if I should be proud or scared), and the porkchops are swimmin' in Apple Cider grilling sauce. Perhaps (if the snow holds off long enough) Kelkhil will grill them?

Gah! My 'circuits were busy' and I couldn't get on! Doom!

Ah, the 'Fat Albert' scene is in the extras of Dogma. He waffled a lot about cutting it, and I really wish he hadn't, but I can see how it doesn't quite fit the movie. Made a few things make more sense, though; there were a lot of extended scenes from the stripclub.

In real life, I must avoid the marshmallow creme like the plague, but here I can eat it straight!

*said through a mouthful of creme* Oh, and you don't haffta use the creme for rice krispie treats, you can just melt the marshmallows in a pan...

I hope you are all enjoying your Saturday. I am watching football and taking it really easy (GT is up 7 - 0 at halftime, UGA is up on Auburn 10 - 0 1/3 into 2nd quarter).

I had 9 shots of Jager before going in to work yesterday, and it was fun, so let's have a few more of those, please.

Nico - the gummi reavers sound excellent. Do I have to lurk to get some ??

Magda - Rice Crispy treats are yummy concoctions of melted marshmallow and Rice Crispies cereal, mixed then let cool before cutting into squares or bars or any fun shape you like. If no one else will, I would love to make you a batch for when you get here.

Penguin, I love the genuine Penguin Kraft Jet Puffed Marshmellow Cream. It's my favorite brand.

Welcome RoxyFreefall, you never know when the pub will be rocking. Sometimes it's jam packed, and sometimes there's just a few relaxers sitting in the comfy chairs in the corner. Saturdays do seem to be a bit quiet because it's football season.

Kelkhil is usually here during the day, and Nico takes the night shift. (It's actually during the day for him because he's an Aussie like Magdalena). Of course if Kelkhil or Nico are tied up JonnyQuest has been known to fill in for them. After saying all that if you don't see anyone around, you can always jump to the other side of the bar and help yourself.

OK this is so funny. I am just now headed to the store for the stuff to make rice crispie treats...LOL

So Magda love here's how
1/4 c butter
1/2 bag mini marshmellows
6 cups rice crispies

melt butter and marshmellows until they are liquid. mix in the rice crispies and stir until coated completely. Then dump it an a baking dish and flatten it out until it looks like brownies ( thickness wise) Let it cool and cut it into squares.... you should do this with your kidlets. I bet they'd love it!
