I was half-asleep in my evolutionary genetics lecture today, and then looked up to see just three letters on the powerpoint projection...
BDM!
I was startled awake thinking 'why is my lecturer about to talk about the Big Damn Movie?' when he went on to talk about the Bateson-Dobzhansky-Muller theory. Gutted.

On another note, Homebase (big hardware store chain) is selling Serenity for 3.99. Good stocking filler for British Browncoats, lets get on it!

I was visiting another town centre last week and noticed an 'Alliance Pharmacy' in the town square. Wondered if that's where they did the research and development on the Pax.

Hey--never fear. I teach part-time high school (looking for a real job with a real school board, but anyway long story) and one of my courses is a Forces of Social Change (combination anthro/psych/sociology kind of course). I assigned movie reviews for my students to do, examining how social change was portrayed, and of course two of 'em get to review Serenity.

Not that I've gotten them back yet....
