If you had the power (and money) to make one or the other happen, which would you choose?

I know in the real world it's impossible, but if it were up to me, I'd bring the series back to television, picking up from where the movie left off, run it for as long as Joss wants to continue it, and maybe have the series finale lead to another big screen movie that ends it all for good and leads to big time movie careers (like the one Tom Cruise used to have) for everyone, if that's what they want.

Agreed. Television is Serenifly's native medium. The episodic nature really allows for the cast to interact in ways and to an extent that a movie just doesn't. Character moments can be given a much larger presence when you aren't trying to cram the story into just a little over 2 hours. A movie sequel is more likely though. And I'd be more than happy were that to happen.

Well if I win the lotto I would buy the rights from fox then I tell Josh here ya go lets make 7 seasons put it on scifi channel for us purest. Hell with ratings will still have 7 dvd box sets. Now their would be one catch. I would have to play the companion serial killer Inara would be my greatest prize at least 2 shows season cliffhanger.

The special place.

I'd make a new series that continues from where the movie left off. It wouldn't be Firefly, because in my opinion it's too late to bring Firefly back.

I guess, ideally, I would want more Firefly episodes but that is highly unlikely at this point.

But I do want Mal, Zoe, and River to get resolution to whatever story they are in now and that will happen, I suspect, in films not shows.

But as I have often said, the real gem with this franchise is the setting itself. I would like to see a completely new show set in the 'Verse.

I'm thinking that a show featuring a P.I. with unconventional thinking (such as in "Have Gun, Will Travel") would work quite well and still capture the magic of Firefly.

I would much rather have a series. Some more movies would be great, but you just can't reach the depth of the verse through that medium. A series is the only way to completely satisfy my thirst for the BDH's and solve all of the mysteries and cliffhangers that have been left.
