I know that you have only one true source of happiness, FMF, but glad I could bring a smile.

Besides, FMF, you started it with that comment about NF's tattoo being caused by your lipstick. Made me spit coffee all over my keyboard.

Yeah...the writing was a little iffy but the movie didn't take itself seriously...it was a comedy...that had creepy things in it.

COME ON...he gets speared in the stomach and walks away from it...get real...internal bleeding would lead to death...duh...but that's not the point...the point is...its a goofy movie.

If this movie was really trying to be serious...then I'd worry...

Look, I loved Shaun of the Dead and Army of Darkness. And Evil Dead II. Hell, I find most horror funny anyway. Remember Phantasm? That was a funny movie, and I honestly can't tell if it was supposed to be or not.

But Slither stank. It wasn't that I couldn't get what it was; its that I completely got what it was, and it was not capable of pulling it off.

The problem was that it WAS a comedy. It clearly made jokes. And I clearly didn't laugh. The writing was terrible.

I wanted something that would make Fillion more of a cult hit, but instead I got junk. I am dreading the release of White Noise 2 even more, now that I've seen the crap that Fillion is willing to sign on for.

SIRI

Just watched Slither. The wormy thing preview grossed me out - not crazy about the wormie thingies. But when I realized Nathan was in it - had to see it. While I didnt' think it was great - it was fun and goofy. Nathan is able to pull it off no matter what they hand to him. He has that quirky little way of making it good even if it ain't great. He's just a really fine actor. I'm glad to see him working and hope he gets better and better parts.

Also, picked up an extra copy of Serenity as I loaned my copy to a friend from my martial arts class - spreading the word.

OK - now I got to watch a Firefly epi to get my mind off the worms.

"The worms are in their brains!"
