I just realized (I might just be really slow), but 5, count 'em 5 of our BDH's have been on CSI. Gina played Warden Hutton on regular CSI. Alan as we all know played Carl Fisher, also on regular CSI. On Miami Adam played De Soto and apparently Radiation Man #1 (I am just reading this off IMDb). Sean played Carson Mackie on Miami. And finally Summer played Mandy Cooper on regular CSI. I knew about Sean and Alan, but I had no idea about the other three. Maybe I'm just slow but oh well this is pretty exciting for me, I mean who knows the CSI people could be plotting something hmmm... let us ponder this a moment.

I think the producers for CSI like Joss's shows, myself as I've seen a plot that actually seems to have been transplanted from Buffy to there: high school kids eating folks and it being blamed on PCP (see The Pack and School Hard) and CSI was actually mentioned in a Buffy ep in 7th season, so it may actually be a mutual admiration society going.

I think maybe somebody watches to much CSI. Then again I don't think any of us can really say that sort of thing about anyone Still, I think it's very cool that so many of our BDH's have gotten a job on CSI, and even more so if what you said is right and the people working there just really love Joss's shows. Maybe we can look forward to seeing some of the others on the show as well

*raises hand* Guilty. It's one of the four shows I watch on TV these days. I'm a crime TV junkie.

I do notice that you don't say I've watched too much Buffy or Angel. You should have heard my speech when those were on.

Melinda Clarke (Nandi) has also appeared on CSI.

Edit: As has Mark Sheppard who also appeared on CSI:NY.

Not to mention that Zoic does some of the effects on CSI. They made the 'Verse come alive, visually, so I would think we should give them nods as well...

Shepherd used to tell me...can't do something smart, do something right.
I'm so into Firefly, my butt glows in the dark.

Mark Sheppard was also on regular CSI. I love Melinda Clarke's character (Lady Heather) on CSI as well. I think there's just a bit of Nandi in her :-P

No power in the 'verse can stop me!

LWAVES

Yeah I'd gotten most of those but what season is Alan on? I thought I'd seen all but the latest and I can't remember seeing him.
Just started watching Miami (from the beginning) and caught Adam on there.

When I first noticed this I did a search for Buffy and Angel as well and quite a few of the lesser characters have been in one or another version of CSI:
Julie Benz, DB Woodside, Lindsay Crouse, Robia LaMorte and there are lots more but when do you stop searching....

As a side note 3 members of CSI:Las Vegas have had recurring roles on ER (Marg Helgenberger, George Eads and Jorja Fox). But when a show goes on that long pretty there are bound to be a lot of recognisable faces.

Alan was just on a few weeks back. Very creepy, he was, too.

That's one of my favorite things about watching old reruns of Law and Order -- the number of faces you see there before they hit it big.

If you really want to work at it, watch old episodes of Gunsmoke. Same thing, but an older crowd of actors...
