The link you should be paying attention to is: http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/index.html

How this thread will work:
In homage to the fact that many of us use Firefly quotes in 'real' life and that now Bump! is being introduced into Firefly quotes in the other threads. Every time you want to bump this thread you must use the next few lines of the episode of Firefly that is currently being used (they will be used in chronological order). As some of the dialogue might be slightly boring... you don't have to change every line.

Scripts can be found here: http://www.fireflywiki.org/Firefly/EpisodeGuide (Click the episode and just before the quotes there is a link to Read the script).
Eventually, we will have a 14 episode season of: BumpyFly! (And maybe a movie afterwards? or comic books? who knows where the franchise might lead!).

Ok, so I can't force this on anyone and I am probably going too far with it... but what the hell, it'll be funny... and I'm a little bored.

For those that don't know how the voting part works: you can vote once an hour, every hour.

1) If you have a wireless card and live in the city, an apartment complex, or even suburbia, try picking up someone else's signal and voting from there.
2) Vote from home, vote from work, vote from cell phone.
3) Get friends to vote or vote on friends' computers.
4) Spread the word to other Firefly boards.

5) If you are the boss at a company with computers, order all employees to vote!

So while it isn't a true indication of the best TV shows ever, it does reflect the strength and committment of the fan base. Firefly was on the air less than a season, yet we've had enough strength as fans to pull it into the Top 5 and climbing, against shows that were on for years (and are still on). No one else but the fans of the other shows may notice, but I'm having fun showing what Browncoats are made of. We are committed; we will prevail.

Occasional acts of guerilla marketing and spreading the signal to non-fans aside, this is something I can do every hour (twice ) and feel like I'm helping Firefly. "Thats not much," you might say. "Its enough," I'd reply.

Lastly, DECEMBER 1st is VOTING DAY! Cast your ballot, if only this once.

I think this was the shooting script, it obviously changed during shooting. I didn't look very hard, but if you know of a transcript we can work off of that.

Also, this vote ends when... well when the site's creator chooses to end it. The first half of the vote lasted about five years, and this one has been going on a year (I believe) now.
