Hey all,

I'm looking to buy the comic to Serenity and I understand that there are 3 comics with multiple covers. I also heard tell that there was a hard back one that depicted all of the covers... is it called "Those Left Behind?"

Also, are these the only comics out for our 'verse?

Yes and yes.

Or rather the collection of the comics is a trade paperback titled, "Serenity: Those Left Behind." There is another series of comics planned but not yet available.

Just ordered it along with the Serenity soundtrack. Now I'm thinking about getting Done The Impossible + Soundtrack... hmm, maybe next paycheck...

You won't regret it, the comics are great...
I wish Joss was going to do a lot more
(he has another 3 issue set coming out next Spring)

Done the Impossible is a lot of fun, and includes disks of Q&As taped at different conventions (very fun to see)

Also 'Serenity: The Visual Companion' is wonderful, it is the orginal shooting script, plus Joss' notes to the costume, lighting, set designers, and others

Let's face it, there is a lot of stuff to buy even though the TV show was cancelled and we only got the one movie!

I am confident we'll get more eventually.

Did you hear Joss' radio interview today? They'll be putting up the whole thing at the site soon:

yes, it is a three shot, coming out in 2007 (hopefully early) titled 'Better Days' and set during Firefly (ie everyone is still alive)

Hee hee...I know a little more than I'm letting on. My girlfriend (Who is a big Wonder Woman fan) and I spoke with Adam Hughes at D*C. He gave us a few little details, nothing huge, mind you. It should be a wonderful book when it comes out. (I mention the Wonder Woman thing because Adam Hughes turns out beautiful Wonder Woman covers...he also did the cover for "Those Left Behind" trade paperback.

I should mention that he didn't tell us much, and what he did tell us, he swore us to secrecy about. I'll have to speak with my significant other about how much more I could tell you...there is more to the story.

I just bought the Serenity:Those Left Behind for christmas after finding out it was all 3 comics in one graphic novel,now just have to fight the temptation of reading it before christmas.
