too little to late

here i am. first time to this forum and i have to say firefly was an amazing series. here comes the sad part. i only just recently watched it. i watched the movie first and was completely blown away by the acting the concept everything. i then a few days later bought the series online since i could not find it anywhere locally.

i have since turned several friends onto this movie and the series as well. they have all borrowed the dvd's.

i am sad that i have just now discovered it. i am pissed at (the studio that will not be named) why have i never heard of it. why was it not made more public for fans like me who would have loved it.

this is the kind of show like sg-1 that would live a long life on the sci-fi channel. i guess the problem now is fox owns the rights to firefly and will not give it up. nbc owns sci-fi and fox knows that is where it would go. look at battlestar galactica eureka sg-1 sg atlantis. while i only watch two of those shows they will have long lives there and be successful. i for one hope it will happen and happen soon.

i know i am new here and i may just be writing what has already been said several times but nonetheless i want to voice my opinion and views.

It's never too late to enter the Firefly 'verse, I did only about a year ago myself!
The reason why it didn't do well was because fox didn't promote it right, and they didn't exactly agree with all of Joss's ideas for it. So, yeah they're all fools...

I'm actually not sure if fox does own all the rights for Firefly, since the Sci-Fi channel occasionally has Firefly marathons on...
Anyway, hope to see you around here more!
