Nathan has more friends than http://whedonesque.com has members (4565) !
I was a little worried that they were the only ones joining. And of course, http://whedonesque.com
sets limits on their membership. Rumor is there will be another membership enrollment period around Christmas.

In that case, why don't we all join his myspace page. Try to make it the one with the most members...

How about posting it for non-myspacers?

You were busy trying to get yourself lit on fire. It happens.

This MySpace thing hasn't been too bad so far. I still don't get anything but "Let us know how we can help you." messages from MySpace powers-that-be when I follow the protocols of how to rid myself of the imposter. Stinkers. On the other hand, I haven't recieved this many naked photos from women since I dated that stripper in NY. Ahh, Champange (if that was your real name), where are you now? Sigh... what could have been.
I got a break down of letters and messages that is as follows:
39%- Is there going to be more/sequel to Firefly/Serenity? (Obviously not reading my blogs).
27%- Love the show/your work. These are the best.
14%- Random stories that have nothing to do with me.
12%- Propositions. Making your boyfriend jealous won't bring him back.
8%- Thank you for being cool. You are most welcome.
7%- Suggestions on how I should live my life/manage my MySpace. Btw- I read your blog. Not very entertaining. Perhaps you should look inward for improvement?
2%- "Doctor gave me a bad prognosis, can I have an autograph" guilt trips.
1%- Old friends connecting.

So, having had my Thanksgiving in October (this always upsets Americans: Canadians invented Thanksgiving, Basketball, and the telephone. No, I will not discuss it. Don't be upset because you grew up with misinformation and now feel the need to lash out at a stranger to keep your fragile world from crumbling. You are not a fool for being fooled), I looked to my motherland to save me from the gasps of horror when I explained I had no dinner plans. Off to Vancouver. Thursday night, my good pal Zoran (yes, his real name) took me to a burlesque show at the Caprice. Nice. Not overly sexified, but still naughty. My fave? Lucky number 12. I never learned her name, I simply designated her a number based on her attractiveness from a scale of one to ten. She knows who she is. (But in case she doesn't- You were the tall slender brunette on the end. Nice work!)
Friday found me on Granville Island. A breakfast sandwich, a visit to my favorite (favourite, for Canadians) stationary store for some cool grocery checklists, and then two giant bags of Soap Candies (Floral Gums) from the farmer's market candy counter. Nobody else likes them, but a dug them when I was a wee lad. Lunch with Jewel Staite and Matty was great. Went out with friends in Yaletown, and tied one on.
Sat was relaxing. Little Xbox, and then Z roped us last minute tickets to the Rolling Stones. Nice work. Mick? You still got it. You're no Lucky number 12, but you still got it.
Sunday went by slow. I'm too old to be out late drinking two nights in a row. Had a nice brunch, and saw Casino Royawesome for a second time- first time without peeing. Snow had me worried for a cab, so I pushed my flight back on Monday to give me time to get to the areoport. Cosmic Diner with Z and Boyan, then a nice flight home, and my cat peed on the floor.
All and all, great time. Vancouverites are very kind when it comes to saying they are fans. Polite, unobtrusive, intelligent, and classy. Always a pleasure to meet Vancouver fans.
And yes, I've added the percentages up. That's the joke. Keep those nice letters coming, all those very positively uplifting comments, too. I see no need to stop the naked photos, either.
Now, who's going to be the one to ignore me and say, "Waah, waah, waah. Thanksgiving bluster bluster, basketball sputter sputter, the TELEPHONE?? Harumph, harumph."?

Lates!
Nathan Fillion

Hopefully somebody didn't beat me to this...

Edit: Nope - I win!

Thank you yinyang,

I'm not a member of myspace. Too scared. Don't want to receive any nakid pictures unlike Nathan.

Really? Most people don't recieve naked pics (just the members with a horde of fanatics, apparently).

Okay, so if we set him up with a webcam do you think we could get the BDHs to do an indie production of our favorite series each week?
Oh wait, copyright infringement. $20 each probably wouldn't cut it either.
Sigh.

I swear the nakkie photos were not of me! I and thousands like me have not set up myspace accounts. I'm just not that interesting, and the depressing numbers would only prove it.

What would Jayne do?

thank you yinyang,
it is greatly appreciated because I really don't want to get a myspace blog (I would only use it to read Nathan's)
