News is almost as good as the upcoming Buffy Season 8 comics. "Almost" because the Buffy comics are a definite thing, while another Serenity sequel still isn't yet.

Same here. I read Nathan's MySpace and I got the feeling well it was a fun ride. Went through and read a couple of those scripts those folk are working on at one of those other links I got....and they are quite good...and thought I could be happy with the Fan Firefly from now on.

This was a nice article....I think Joss has to keep tossing us scraps to keep the hope alive.

I had a picture...now all I have is this little x.

I'm so happy to have helped supply the hope. :) I think we all feel the "it's over" at times.
Oh, and here's some more hope: I was cafepress Christmas shopping last night and I needed to spend to a bit more in order to qualify for free shipping. I typed in "Mal" since "Firefly" and "Serenity" showed nothing... Stupid copyrights. ;)
They listed the merchandise by most popular items. Firefly stuff completely blew away Malamute dog merchandise.

Point being...
Yeah, that's right. Firefly is better than dogs.

Thanks for posting the article, IHeartFirefly. It's nice to hear Joss' words - if he's asked to do it, he will. I'm positive that the money people will be asking when they see that our numbers are continuing to grow.

I felt Joss sorta did the same thing with BUFFY when the WB lost the show after season 5. I remember at the time reading a couple of different articles or something where he was always optomistic about another network picking it up or the WB changing their minds, or at least that's what he wanted us to think. Kept hearing things about the show ending for good from various other places, but I was never concerned about it because I had complete faith in him. It never entered my mind that any network would turn down someone as passionate and talented as Joss after being able to prove for five years what he was capable of.

Of course, I got slapped in the face for that same faith with the cancellation of ANGEL and FIREFLY, the TV movies and the BUFFY animated series that never got off the ground, but that's besides the point.
