I just finished reading about a hundred or so reviews at Amazon.com for the Firefly DVD set. It still astonishes me how many people really were touched by this show and loved it, only to have it brutally ended by the DFMs at Fox. So, if you want to heap a little bile on the DFMs at fox, send your hate-filled e-mails to...

It still galls me that those

dicks make a red cent off of a program that they killed with all the deliberation of a teen aborting a fetus

While I appreciate the sentiment--why be cruel? Alienating Fox will only make it all the less likely they'll release the soundtrack. Better to focus on your love for the show than your hate for Fox.

True. Intellectually, it's as satisfying as beating your head on a steel wall just to hear the thwack sound it makes.

However, emotionally, it was as satisfying as beating a Fox executives head against that same wall for the same reason

Don't worry, nobody cares what ecmorgan69 sends Fox in an e-mail message, unless it's a bomb threat...

They are considering releasing a soundtrack for Firefly?...shiny.

I also posted a thread on how great the Firefly reviews are at Amazon. 625 reviews and its still at 5 stars.

I keep suggesting, as a more productive way to increase the show's exposure, that we all go to all the DVD sale sites and post positive reviews for the set. (Amazon.com, Chapters/Indigo, Barnes and Noble, DVD Soon, etc., etc., etc.).

If there are a couple of thousand positive reviews it may encourage the unsuspecting potential fan to pick up the set, and might just draw the attention from the "powers that be".

Bang on accurate, I'd say. Like my dear Grandma used to say, "Swearing is just a limited mind seeking to express itself."
