Drop them a hint. Maybe they don't know there are any people who would come and see Serenity. Got any friends to bring? Maybe they are going to screen Serenity and haven't yet posted it up on Fandango. Not every theater posts this far ahead.

I'm in St. Louis and have been watching for it to show up. Thought it would be making the rounds but I will get off my bum and start making noise.

Maybe together you can get a St. Louis Serenity Screening. A theater just needs to be sure to make enough money to cover the cost of renting the film and such. They want to know enough people are going to show up and come hungry. Remember theaters make the most money from the food and drinks. And Browncoats know how to Shindig! Tell them it will be posted on the internet.

Off days and times are a good bet. Therefore midnight screenings.

Or like a Wednesday. There is a theater in Arlington, VA having a charity screening on Dec. 20th 1 year DVD release anniversary party and Holiday party.

::freak out:: WHENARETICKETSAVAILABLEWHENWHENWHEN?!?!?!?!? Bah, you can't get anything past the 14th, and the theater doesn't offer online buying anyways!!! That doesn't bode well for me... Going if I can, though!

------------------------------------------
RPG launcher bought in third world country illegally - $10
Landmines - $50 per
Attack/track dogs bred 1st class - $250-500 per
Highpowered assault rifles - $600 per
The look on your face when I show up on your doorstep with a bigfoot - ... Priceless

Mmm, but didn't the tickets for the special showings before Sep. 30th, 2005 sell out in a few hours? No telling what it'll be like this time... unless this has happened before? Enlightenment is good!

Dammit, when are they showing it in the Bay?! (I wish they would do it on New Years Eve)

_____

"You know that's gonna fall off."
-----Nathan Fillion (to me while drunk)

How are ships unlike food?
1. If you try it and don't like it, you don't have to do it again.
2. You can have as much as you want, when you want.
3. Cravings can be very specific.
I mean, hello it's not as if there's 'ship police?

Do you mean San Francisco Bay area? Because there are a bunch of Landmark theaters in the S.F. BAY AREA. Drop them a hint. Maybe it is not too late to have a New Year weekend screening or maybe they will have it on another weekend. Tell them you'll post it on the internet and the South California Browncoats are very active. Look at the "cancelled flanvention" stuff.

SIRI

Hey there WTE,
Siri here - also in St. Louis. I emailed you, you responded - then I dropped the ball. Had hoped to get them to do a Christmas show. What do you think about trying to get them to schedule a midnight show? I know a few other Firefly fans (not Browncoats - officially but fans). Also, I've been passing around Serenity to my martial arts class and might be able to get them to go en masse to a showing. Do you have any other ideas?

I've just been really busy and I'm going out of town next week for several days.

Have a good holiday. Nice to have another STL Browncoat to chat with now and then.

"I'm thinking we'll rise again."

Siri
