I just got my Jan 07 issue of GameInformer Magazine and what do you know, but a nice mention of Firefly.
In the Article of the top 10 licenses that should be games, Firefly came in at #1

---So what if the series only lasted a little over a dozen episodes, and Serenity has come and gone? Firefly was one of the best things to happen to sci-fi since, well, ever! We're envisioning a huge multi-part epic where we learn more about the characters in each self-contained chapter. Hand-to-hand combat with River, RPG conversations between Mal and Inara, western-style shoot-outs with Jayne - There's more than enough room for great storytelling and gameplay.
