I didn't make up that subject line! Nothing like a lynching or riot to get media attention.

edit:
Be sure to read the article.
The writer of the article had this to say about the using rampage in the title.

I just wrote "rampage" in the headline to be silly. I think it's fantastic that the California Browncoats swooped in and saved the day.

end edit.

RAMPAGE ...what the fuck? They didn't rampage. They had shiny fun anyway. Its not like they rioted down the streets throwing chairs through windows. I don't like the article title.

Boy Wired, you could not get it more wrong if you tried! Lame, lame, lame! I've been a videotape editor here in LA for over 20 years. I've worked with many actors - some big, some on the way up. Others, well...
So are you guys smoking crack, or what?

The real story here is what the actors and fans DID do to live through this horrible situation. Pretty f**in amazing to me!

Rampage?
Browncoats don't rampage. They might burst into song, or dance, or pass a hat and give the proceeds to charity. They might cluster or throng while they try to find out where the queue is supposed to form.
But no rampaging, not even if everyone had a full jug of Mudder's Milk. Nope. Not a Browncoaty thing to do.

Pretty much got it right. Wired fugsluts giving us bad name.

I think it was a title that was suppose to catch the medias attention. The link that Anonymous1 posted was a nice article. It just had the "Rampaging" in the title.

Quote for the article:
Over a hundred fans were already at the hotel, with many more due to arrive today. No word from Booster on refunds or even on what the hell happened. Luckily, the resourceful California Browncoats have planned a "backup bash" for the fans in town so that there are no riots full of people chanting the "fruity oaty bar" song. There may not be photo-ops with the stars at the Backup Bash, but there will be a lot of fans and a lot of love for Firefly. As for Booster Events, I'm thinking lawsuit(s). Seriously.

I don't know that most of the commenters read the article: they just read the headline and reacted.

Sadly, some media foofoohead will probably do the same thing...and the story will be passed around.

DAMN that ain’t shiny! I bet it was all a con into getting money out of hardworking Firefly/Serenity fans!

P.S The title is very misleading, the article said no one rioted, Jayne would be sad to hear that!
