Along with Cohen for "Borat," the nominees for best comedy or musical actor included
Johnny Depp for the summer blockbuster "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest,"
Aaron Eckhart for "Thank You For Smoking,"
Chiwetel Ejiofor for the drag-queen romp "Kinky Boots," and
Will Ferrell for the literary story "Stranger Than Fiction."

Ejiofor also had a nomination for best actor in a TV miniseries or movie for "Tsunami: The Aftermath."

Congrats out to the Operative!

I haven't seen Kinky Boots but he deserves an award for 'Tsunami, the aftermath'. That was an incredible piece of acting.

I wasn't sure what to expect with that Tsunami mini-series on HBO, but I believe that our Operative friend has a very promising career ahead of himself.

You shot me in the back!!

I just finishing watching Kinky Boots a few minutes ago. Took me a few scenes before I recognized Chiwetel Ejiofor.
An excellent movie.
Quite far from the verse, but a quality production none the less, which is one of the things we browncoats look for.
Mr. Ejiofor is a very good actor. He has a way of looking dangerous and vulnerable at the same time. He can sing too.

He was pretty good in the movie "Four Brothers" (a good movie overall).

He also had a marginal decent part in "The Inside Man" as Denzell Washington's partner.

Yeah, he was wonderful as Lola! So sexy. So vulnerable. So cynical.

And I love/hated him in Four Brothers, too. He was scary.
