Mall Tattoo?

Has anyone else noticed what appears to be a tattoo on Mal's thigh in "Trash"? Anybody know what that is? Despite the gratutious zoom thingie on the DVD player my roommate and I still can't tell what it's suppossed to be. Please help! Tired of feeling like a complete and total geek, but also v. curious!

The guy in "The Message" had a tribal sun (I think) tatoo on his shoulder. Definately not the same thing that Mal had on his hip.
