A friendly greeting to every brown-coat out there. Im new to this fansite & must admit at 23 years of age, this is my first membership to any fansite, ever. I just felt compelled to search for & possibly join such an awesome looking site that deals with anything serenity/firefly.

A little background, i reside in Sydney Australia, & like many fans, i too discovered the joys of the series much too late & caught my first episode well after its cancellation unfortunatley. Nevertheless, im always thankful i was lucky enough to catch this show in my lifetime no matter how brief.

I am a keen collector of signed memorabilia dealing with serenity/firefly & have numerous signed photos framed up in my office/room. I was lucky enough to meet Summer when she came to Sydney in 06 at the SuperNova Convention which was one of the greatest days of my life. Not just because of meeting a cast member, but it just felt like i belonged there & was totally comfortable in the presence of other sci-fi fans enjoying the whole convention experience.

I hope i get the same feeling here as i did that day in Sydney & if anyone is willing to show me the ropes, thatll be much appreciated.

FollowMal should be along at some point to give you a Virtual Browncoat, kind of a traditional greeting around here. I wear mine with pride. Others will be along to heap food upon you. It's all pretty good, but the ice planets can get a bit messy and problematic.

The TV ratings people called last night and my hubby did a survey and he begged the survey taker to have them bring back Firefly...
