I mostly lurk on FFF and the Prospero forum, but I made a neat contact today and I thought I would get some advice.

I am in a video class at my high school, and today a friend of mine had a pile of soundtrack CDs that he was using as music for his piece. I asked about it, and he told me that his brother works for the FOX music licensing dpt., and deals with the soundtracks for all the television and movies that FOX produces. Not only does he get free copies of all the soundtracks that FOX releases... but -get this!- gets them early!

I have his brother's e-mail address, and I am planning to ask what he knows about the status of the Firefly soundtrack. Any ideas/specific questions that I should include??

I am going to ask for a sample CD for the forums... even some 30 second clips would be nice.

If you can get the info just make sure that it is really going to be a CD. I hate paying when have to download music, its ridiculous.

Jaaaaayyyynnnne...the man the call jaaaaayne. Jaynestown would HAVE to be on there, opening theme too. And basically anything else, that was great music.

True! No Firefly soundtrack could be complete without those :)

I do hope the music from "The Message" is on there!
