I've never seen Joss before until this photo. Too bad he had to pose with a freakish-looking fan in a geeky vest.

Is it just me or did all the pictures on the Firefly slideshow today make the crew look like they feared for their lives (except Nathan kissing Nandi)?
I think it's groovy they got a horse shot too. Not sure why it's groovy, just is.

Score.

I thought the slideshow shots were kinda odd as well, expecially the one of Kaylee with Inara in the background. I don't even remember where that came from...

I'm not certain, but I think that's from Bushwhacked when Kaylee is getting ready to crawl into Serenity's belly and disable the Reaver booby-trap.
So, yeah, I guess they were fearing for their lives.

News from the nomination poll.

Seems our short list is...
The Avengers (27) nominal
Futurama (12) nominal
4400 (5) nominal
Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood (26) up
Sesame Street (7) first votes in a while
() votes yesterday, followed by relative trend assessment. So not sure if we can make a single point of commonality, but it has been a fun discussion.

---
Today, I noticed Dark Shadows is moving up the nomination poll...daily votes running between 40 and 70.

Not knowing anything about it...
from tv.com....
Show: Dark Shadows

Dark Shadows was a daytime soap opera on ABC-TV which aired weekdays during the afternoon. With vampires, witches, worlocks, werewolves, and other supernatural creatures, it became a surprising phenomenon, lasting for five years before it was cancelled.

Wonder if it is Buffy fans?

I was thinking it was either Bushwhacked or Out of Gas judging by the stress and sweatiness in their faces.

I'll try to keep all the pretty women straight FlyVote....

I'm trying to convince some Futurama fans to Vote Firefly and nominate Futurama. If Firefly and Futurama are both up tomorrow, then my effort may have been beneficial.

I've been tracking the voting since 5 December and its not that often we crack 1000 votes in a day. To celebrate this auspicious day we should aim for 2000 votes tomorrow !!

Love the Flyvote, my kids have no excuse not to vote when they're using the computer.

Dark Shadows. I remember that show. I loved it as a kid. It was on every afternoon around 3:30 following General Hospital and One Life to Live. Barnabas Collins was the vampire. It was soooooo spooky. I recently found the series on DVD and bought it. Funny how things we thought were great as kids seem really stupid now. The acting was terrible, the sound was terrible. You could often see the microphones hanging over the actors heads. It is good for a laugh, however.

SLOWHAND

I have to ask. Was there some problems between us and some of the Bonanza fans? The reason I ask is because if there is, I feel kind of bad about it cause I made the "70-year-old TV junkies" comment, and I hope that didn't stir up a hornets nest.

If that upset anyone, especialy the Bonanza fans, I apologize whole-heartedly. I'm not one to insult people on purpose.

What I meant by that post was that I was unaware of a Bonanza fan movement. In my mind, I was thinking of all the BIG shows out there, shows like MASH or Seinfeld or Freinds or The Simpsons, it just struck me as odd for Bonanza to be in second place. Nothing against the show, I just would've never guessed it.

I realize that many wouldn't guess Firefly either, being that it was canceled after only half a season, but Firefly IS known for it's fandom. Bonanza, to my mind, is not. That's all. I wasn't taking any shots at anyone, but if anyone saw it that way, again, I apologize.

Keep Fly'n!!!
