And I didnt feel like hiding it. I had never been asked straight up. and I just told aforementioned mutual friend that yes, i do have a crush i suppose it's called, and that I care about said lighting designer, and.... i dunno, mutual friend and i talked for a long while about dating and cliches and self esteem and craziness, and eventually mutual friend gave me a kindly meant ultimatum to tell lighting designer, or she would. or she wouldnt. she gave me taht option, bless her, but i didnt take it.

I sent Lighting designer the entire conversation, and told her how i feel, in email, lame as i am. But really i feel like its better in writing, i can be more eloquent and less stutter-ish.

So she'll reply, and/or i see her tomorrow. I'm in the thick of it now, and I dont know what to think. But mutual friend is right. You're only in high school once, i suppose.

Magdachan, dont talk about maturity of teens when it comes to the illustrious Lighting Designer... part of what i love about her is that she doesnt subscribe to most of the teenage cliche things. It's strange yet endearing, she's against the use of the word love to refer to platonic love, and came up with a substitute word for it. And I've never been able to figure out what that means. that we teens arent ready or maybe arent able to love in the mental romantic way? or that she's uncomfortable with that? blah, humans are crazy. all of us.

at this point i'm just babbling. i spent the last half hour lying on the floor pondering what a terrible mistake i've probably made, and that i've destroyed our friendship, blarg..... anyone ever seen the movie Love Actually? Well if you have, i think i'm "getting the kicked outta me by love".
